Welcome back to a new episode.
Here I am to tell you today that studies say to find yourself truly you have to connect with others. I just returned from Cancun with an incredible organization called Women in Action and that trip changed my perspective forever.
What I realized is that it doesn't matter where you come from or what your walk of life looks like. When we show up for one another, something magical happens. We often think being vulnerable is a weakness, but in Cancun I saw the vulnerability is actually where our strength begins.
It's about knowing that when you stumble, there is a hand reaching out to lift you up. Helping each other isn't just a kind gesture. It shows how we discover who we are meant to be. To my sisters at Women in Action, thank you for showing me the power of support. We were there for each other as we were climbing that rock to look over and have the full experience as we took in that beautiful view, holding each other's hand, lifting each other up, wondering where the other one was when one of us would disappear to go shopping or to take a sneak peek of what was happening next, asking where is she? We can't move forward unless we are all together.
Thank you once again for that beautiful experience.
The three days that we spent together really showed who we are and it gave us an opportunity to continue to inspire each other, to continue to motivate each other in this journey as women together.
What an amazing week I am having from going to Cancun with my networking group Women in Action Mujeres en Accion and challenging myself to teach me that there is a beginning and an end and sometimes we need to understand why certain things end in life before we begin a new chapter. And that's what I do in Vital Women. This week I had the privilege of attending the West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and listening to my mentor Karen Haynes talk about how we commit to ourselves and she spoke about the five commitments and how we can do that and become empower and heal ourselves as today a attending a cultivate women's group and how we spoke about the journey that journey bringing how we can explore in order to cultivate and grow and create and how beautiful it is being by the ocean and how that feeds our creativity. And as women we need to learn what takes in order for us to empower ourselves to challenge who we are and not compete with other women, but to compete with ourselves. Knowing and sitting with yourself in order to know where we are going in life and where that journey is Bringing you Beautiful conversations taking place all week, I will be sharing my experience with you through pictures and videos that I took of the moments that I shared with these beautiful women, women in Action, Mujeres en Accion and how we all came together to talk about our fears and to tell stories and how important it is to tell stories because they support each other.
And also, not only do stories support women and growth, but also it encourages us to lose that fear that sometimes we experience when we go through certain journey in life.
